Ghana Expands Education Infrastructure to Meet Rising Demand

In response to rapid population growth and overcrowded classrooms, the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East has announced a major expansion of educational infrastructure in the constituency. The plan includes construction of new basic schools, renovation of existing facilities, and the establishment of a new senior high school near Kasoa, pending approvals. School projects are already underway in Zongo, Newtown, and other areas to accommodate increasing student numbers. The MP also revealed plans to explore a nursing training college to broaden post-secondary opportunities locally, signaling a holistic approach to education development.
